A Bit About Me

I began my journey in Human Resources in 2002 as a training and development professional in the private sector. This experience led me to pursue the finalization of my bachelor’s in business management and human resources in 2003. As my career progressed, I chose to obtain my master’s in business and human resources management in 2008. I transitioned from the private sector to independent consulting in 2009 until the opportunity to learn the public sector was presented in 2017. In January of 2025, to begin the new year and a new start to my portfolio, The MiXx Consulting began anew with an additional offering for the public sector. The MiXx consists of two (2) variables, one X indicating the inclusion of the organization or company and the other variable, x, representing the employee. One does not successfully exist without the other! This all inclusive list of services is exciting and we look forward to serving your human resources needs! In my free time I enjoy Spartan races, golfing, reading, and since I'm in my Doctorate program I'd be remiss to not include my studies as a hobby as well! I have two amazing children, Jillian and Daltrey, and they are my inspiration every day.

Led development team to build and deploy a dedicated recruitment website which reduced year-over-year recruitment costs by 14%.

Led a team to convert seven (7) human resources programs into one (1) which reduced costs by 30%, increased productivity and efficiency and improved response times by 20%.

Conducted safety audits and Developed the SACFD Wellness Program and in-house Workers Compensation program.
